What is the Innsbruck Youth Advisory Board?
The Innsbruck Youth Advisory Board is a body for young people who are committed to representing the interests and concerns of young people in Innsbruck. The Youth Advisory Board offers young people the opportunity to actively participate in decision-making processes and to initiate projects themselves. The Youth Advisory Council has its own budget to implement projects.
How can I participate in the Youth Advisory Council?
To be able to participate in the Innsbruck Youth Advisory Council, you must be between 14 and 19 years old and have your main residence or center of life in Innsbruck.
How many people sit on the Innsbruck Youth Advisory Council?
The Innsbruck Youth Advisory Council consists of 30 young people. The seats are allocated as follows:
- max. 14 places for young people from clubs, associations or youth work
- 7 places for young people from open youth work (youth centers, mobile youth work)
- 2 young people from the regional student council
- at least 7 open places for motivated young people from Innsbruck
How long does membership of the Innsbruck Youth Advisory Council last?
The term of office is for 2 years.

I am not a member of the Youth Advisory Council, but would like to put forward an idea. How do I do that?
You can share your ideas with a member of the Youth Council, who will then present them at the next Youth Council meeting. You can also submit your ideas to Service Unit Women and generations - Youth Council at any time.
