To portray the life and experiences of ordinary soldiers in the Dolomite region. The focus is on the soldier's everyday life in Rayon V on the Tyrolean front. In order to obtain as broad a perspective as possible, personal documents (diaries, field mail), normative sources (orders, decrees, etc.) and other military documents as well as secondary literature are often consulted.
