The book provides an overview of all pipe organs in the city of Innsbruck, from the oldest playable organ - the world-famous Ebert organ from 1558 in the Hofkirche - to the present day, from the mini organ, the one-register positive organ or claviorganum to the monumental 57-register cathedral organ with four manuals and pedal, the largest organ in Innsbruck. The author documents all the instruments in numerous pictures, with the most important basic information, dispositions and additional comments on the respective organ history and the buildings in question.
