• Protecting the welfare of children
• Clarifychild welfare risks
• Counseling sessions
• Referral to other social institutions
• First point of contact for problems with parents/children, among other things
• Maintenance agreements, advice and support with maintenance
• Acknowledgement of paternity
• Reimbursement of costs
• Selection of foster and adoptive parents, placement of minors with foster and adoptive parents
• Processing and advice on anonymous births
