Inn Seit'n Big Band

Direction: Thomas Steinbrucker

in 2008/09 Christian Wegscheider and Thomas Steinbrucker founded the Inn Seit'n Big Band of the Music School of the City of Innsbruck.

This allows students to try their hand at jazz and popular music in addition to the orchestras. Christian Wegscheider initially formed the young members into a team under the name Big Band Innsbruck Youngsters. Since 2013, Thomas Steinbrucker has been at the head of the band.

Successes

The Inn Seit'n Big Band can look back on a large number of concerts and performances in Tyrol and Germany. Fixed points in the school year are the Christmas concerts at the Christmas markets and the main concert in the Ursulinensaal.

A dance program by the Inn Seit'n Big Band is also planned to create a good atmosphere at balls or other dance events.
