- If you send submissions outside office hours, they are only deemed to have been submitted at the start of the next office hours. E-mails and online forms are not processed outside office hours. Your submissions are only deemed to have been received at the start of the next office hours, even if they have technically arrived earlier.

Guidelines for incoming e-mails
- Document formats:
Emails that do not comply with the permitted formats will not be delivered. Senders receive a message that the e-mail could not be delivered. In this case, resend the e-mail with a valid file format. - Emails with more than 15 MB in total will not be delivered.
- E-mails with more than 50 recipients will not be delivered.
- Encrypted e-mails are not accepted for security reasons. (This also applies to all encrypted or password-protected file attachments or sub-components).
- E-mails that are recognized as dangerous by the antivirus system of Magistrat will not be accepted and will be deleted immediately. The sender will not be informed of this.
- To defend against SPAM, each e-mail is subjected to a multi-stage checking system with several modern and automated checking procedures (such as "ReputationCheck", Real-time IP Blocklist, Spoof Detection, SPF, DMARC, DKIM, Greylisting and Junk Email Detection). If these checks are passed, the email is forwarded to the other security check procedures (such as virus scan, unauthorized attachments, script detection, size restriction, etc.) and delivered or blocked.

Admissibility of announcements of oral hearings on the Internet
Pursuant to Section 42 para. 1 lit. a AVG, notices of oral hearings may be published on the Internet. They are available on the official notice board.
The publication of an oral hearing on the Internet is a legally effective method. If a person does not lodge an objection with the authority during office hours or directly at the hearing on the day before the hearing at the latest, they lose their status as a party to the proceedings.
Digital building submission
Building permits, building notifications and applications under the SOG can only be submitted digitally using the following online form "Bauansuchen/Bauanzeige - Einreichung":
This regulation deviates from the provisions under Legally effective submission(Section 13 para. 2 AVG, Section 29a TBO, Section 22 SOG 2021).
The maximum size and permitted file formats for attachments can be found in the online form. If the file is too large or the file format is not permitted, the submission will not be carried out.
The guidelines for incoming e-mails also apply to attachments in the online form. Attachments that contain executable files, macros or active content or use hyperlinks to content on the Internet are not considered to have been submitted with legal effect.
Notwithstanding Section 7 of the Construction Documents Ordinance 2024, there is no restriction on the size of plans.
Submissions by e-mail are not considered legally valid in the area of digital building submission, are not processed and are deleted immediately. The sender will not always be informed of this.
